100 New Synth Patches for X-Station and XioSynth
To make sure your festive season goes with a bang, as well as a wowowo and a mwoarp or two, Novation have uploaded a new bank of 100 synth patches for all X-Station and XioSynth owners. The bank has been lovingly crafted by Breaks guru General MIDI and technical wizard Henrik Johansson, providing a massive selection of current and upfront sounds.
Paul Crossman, a.k.a. General MIDI, has been rocking the Breaks scene since the start of the millennium, releasing singles on some of the most respected labels, including TCR (Rennie Pilgrim’s label) & Kilowatt (Hyper's label). His slick DJing skills have led him to regular appearances at Breaks events across the planet, such as Fabric, Chew The Fat, Blow Pop, Sounds On Sundays (Sydney), Two Tribes (Australia), Zouk (Singapore), Budapest, all across the USA, Hungary, Spain, Serbia, China and Hong Kong. All of this has led to his massive debut album 'Midi Style', released on Distinct'ive Records.
Henrik Johansson is an inspiring electronic artist and producer who’s musical efforts first culminated in the release of his debut album ‘We Can Fix It’ in 2002. With the pseudonym SMYGLYSSNA, Henrik has released tracks on labels such as Plug Research, Vertical Form, Leaf, Soul Jazz, Mille Plateaux and Source Records, and has toured extensively throughout Europe. In addition to his ‘Warp-esque’ production talents, Henrik has been responsible for sound programming work for numerous companies, including Native Instruments.
